The concept of featuring animals in the alphabet is quite commonplace, however `Duffzilla manages to bring something exceptional to this genre by selecting a remarkable set of creatures in AZ_Full Collection, animals which for some reason or the other are not as conventionally known, illustrated in a manner that all the more advocates their beauty and charm.

I've been planning this one for about a year now. Obviously, I've spent most of that time not working on it but on and off I've been refining the list and getting photo reference.
Now it's finally done.
At the risk of getting into a rant, I'll be brief.
I'm sick of seeing the same animals again and again in animal A to Zs because I don't understand what makes an Ostrich more of an animal than an Okapi... apart from laziness.
These are all painted on one spiral bound sketchbook of hand-made paper made by 'khadi papers'.
Each painting is just gouache and 13.5 x 15 cm

To be fair, not many animals of note (as in, they aren't random species of bugs or invertebrates) start with X, Y, or Z . . . but yeah, I see your point with the other letters. Always annoyed me how A always started with ant instead of something like an aardvark or an alpaca every now and again.
