how do you do to make brown appear at blue edges?
Oh man! You could do AWESOME calendars! (P.S. You could make many things awesome, but calendars sprung to mind for no particular reason, and I thought I'd mention it)
Wonderful technique on this
I love him!
they're beautiful birds. I had fun going through page after page of google images. I'd love to see one with my own non-google eyes.
Awesome colors! They work so well.
Yeah, I like the colours here but, as I said in reply to a previous comment, the only ink I used was black ink. It separates into different colours when you add too much ink. Pretty much all black ink is a combination of two very, very, very dark and concentrated colours. In this case, blue and yellow apparently
Beautiful, nice work.
i just love handmade drawings! great sketches!
Absolutely beautiful!!! Now make it a print so we can buy it!!!
i love the simple, organic feel of the colors in this piece. along with the sharp black lines.
This is really beautiful. I love the proportions of the bird and the addition of blue ink was a fantastic idea.
Thanks There is no blue ink. This is black ink that separates into yellow and blue when you add too much water. The whole 'inkanimals' series thing was painted with just black ink and water.
I'm even more impressed now! I think it is amazing that you were able to control the separation of the colors so well.
Sheesh, I can never get enough of your art!!
Inks are back!
