...this one owes a debt to Dave McKean or Neil Gaiman or possibly both. I know there was a little band in a box in Mirrormask and I think there might've been something similar in Coraline but I can't remember.
We had to set mouse traps a few weeks ago. We caught one and it didn't quite die but it wasn't going to survive so I had to kill it. That was no fun. I imagine he's playing in a little mousey band somewhere and, if he is, I hope he's the happy little one on the glockenspiel.

I've had to do that as well, it sucked, but the better than the alternative of letting it suffer.

The painting is great, I love the expressions and the colors.

in coraline the "crazy old man upstairs" always talks about his mouse circus. and the book ends with coraline listening to the music of the mice.

...wouldn't it be easier to just wish for this painting instead of wishing to be 2 people you don't know?

..unless the painting is irrelevant and you just wish you were my brother and his girlfriend for different reasons...
