the colour work looks fantastic,theres something quite charming about the whole thing.. even though they do have a sort of vacant look.
i think the yellow hat still looks a bit safari-ish, but its not distracting.

It does look a bit like a pith helmet but still... I have some better sketches. I just liked this one of the 2 of them together. :)

I just realised it looks like their sharing a "platonic, 2 men enjoying coffee together" (looks like they're holding hands) :D

Really nice. Definately works together, and they both have character... which is important in characters :w00t:

Wow, those are great. The wee fat one looks so timid on his own, while the other one seem to be a workwork.
I can imagine them sitting in their cabin at night, smoking their pipes. The fat one telling stories and the other just sitting there, enjoying them.
The small one looks, as I said, timid, but more like a social one than the tall. The tall looks the other way around, confident but a bit antisocial, except towards his buddy.
